Boards from events

The board is a projection, not a source of truth: what a card shows is replayed from the same event log that everything else in agI3R is built on.

How it works

01
Status is derived, not stored

A work item's stage is computed from its events every time the board renders — there is no status field a UI can silently drift out of sync with.

02
Editable fields stay separate

Assignee, priority, and similar human-editable metadata live as entity state — distinct from the event-derived lifecycle, so neither store contests the other's facts.

03
Moving a card opens a gate

Advancing a stage is a governed action, not a drag-and-drop status edit — it routes through the same gate machinery as every other transition.

04
Committed plans flow onto it

A committed plan's sizes and delivery order show up on the board the same way any other event-derived fact does — planning and the board share one source of truth.

The agents behind it

Human control

The board reflects gate decisions after the fact — there is no path from a card drag to canonical state without a gate.
